Didn’t enjoy the employee running the leaf blower at 6:30am daily for 20 minutes. Even more annoying is that he would just put it up by 7am and then move on to something else. Was that just a disgruntled wake up call? Good job because you got our attention and probably not coming back for that nonsense. Everything else was great. Kinda a hidden gem with a beautiful little park on the lake.
Location was great as it is right off the water. Close to winery, caves, and Marble Falls. The campground needs some work though, especially when they are charging people what they are. And if it rains… the entire campground floods. Our campsite became a massive mud pit and the people we were traveling unfortunately had to leave early due to poor maintenance of the site. If the site would have had some gravel like some of the other sites… it would have been fine. Also, if you are pulling a large trailer the spots can be tight.
I hosted a baby shower in the Colorado Lake house, and the check in process was so easy. Cleanliness, service & professionalism from staff, location, everything was perfect. Highly recommend if you’re looking for any kind of family event, or just want a weekend getaway.
Overall the place is nice, but dated. RV sites are dirt, but mostly level. We had friends staying in a condo and it was nice but smelled like a cat had been there. -Biggest disappointment was the lack of amenities. No one said anything either time I called, or when I checked in. They just gave me the packet that had the water slide and water trampoline x'ed out. Those were a big selling point for us. -Also the rec room was booked the entire time we were there. Again, would have been nice to know about that before hand. +Restrooms are not air conditioned, but they are clean. +Pool, splash pad, and putt putt are small but nice. A dog run would be a nice addition.
Arrived earlier today to our condo and was so pleased with it and the whole resort. It is quaint, cozy and very quiet. So glad I found this place through an internet search. I plan tocome back again!
