we headed to Marquette, not knowing where to stay or what to do for our honeymoon but we found this adorable campground and we set up camp at 10 o’clock at night. Waking Up all we could hear was the river. It was wonderful really hard to get up. In the morning we we walked around and just saw how beautiful this campground was! the bathrooms were so clean. The campground was clean. Everything was so organized they had a beautiful bar, Live music, handmade chairs, fire pits... Just beautiful. I highly recommend this campsite one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen.

Only got to stay one night but had I known how great a place this was I would have booked our luxury cabin for another night or two. Great gal at the front desk to welcome us, great pool for adults and kids (and hot tub), mini golf, great pizza and a variety of beverages to enjoy on their cozy patio or down by the creek. I loved the Adirondack chairs in the stream! What a great idea! Great bar area. They carry a lot of amenities should you need anything from Tylenol to ice cream. We camp a lot so walked around the camp ground and we were quite impressed! I wood highly recommend this for anyone traveling through the area or planning a vacation stop that takes you through Marquette.

This place is probably the best campground I’ve ever been to. Amazing scenery and great staff! Wife and I planned on staying just one night but booked another night because we lived the site and town so much. I’m shocked at any reviews not 5 stars tbh. I’ll post photos when possible.

We spent a week here in Aug ‘24 and had a wonderful time. The campground is super close to the mountain bike trails and, as the name would suggest, there’s a rippling river right behind the main office that you can sit right in. We also enjoyed the hot tub and pool after a long day of biking. Bathrooms conveniently located around the grounds. Only note is that the sites are not private. Most are wide open. It didn’t bother me, but if that’s something that is important to you, FYI.

Pool, hot tub, clean showers and bathrooms. We were doing camping all across the UP at typical camping spots. This was an awesome break and basically felt like a 5 star resort 👌 the tent sites are a little tight, but the area is beautiful. Site D is right next to the water

What an amazing campground! From the beautiful views while siting at your campsite to the amazing staff, this place has it all. The bathrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. The lodge is warm and welcoming with a fireplace, bar and outdoor seating area that offers great views and music. You can do everything right from Rippling River Resort and never need to leave unless it was to bike or hike. All of the staff is amazing, however I have to call out Kenzie! She went above and beyond and always had a smile and a great attitude. Can’t wait until our next visit!

I stayed here over the last weekend in the rustic tent sites. Very secluded, right on the river! The employees were awesome. Facilities were clean. Location to the South Trails is as close as can be. I had a great weekend!!

The cabins looked great, but I was here to camp in my RV. The site was clean. Facilities were awesome. The prices were on the upper end of reasonable, but the location was fantastic if you wanted to stay there for mountain biking.

I highly recommend this campground. I stayed at the rustic tent sites and it was large, soft, level ground without roots. Also, it was a short walk to the parking lot and bathroom and not too far from the lodge. Another perk was the lodge which had a heated balcony and large campfire as well as beer and pizza. It was a rainy day so we didn’t want to stay by the campsite.

Honestly really surprised at how clean the little cabins are and well kept the camp areas are. The prices for drinks are pretty cheap too, not sure where you can get a draft beer for $2 anymore besides a small town dive bar. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a more affordable place to stay and wants to be more on a campground vs downtown.
