Great place. Worth the drive. Plenty of sites. Pretty surroundings.
Absolutely beautiful. It's very clean and quiet. Bring lots of bug spray or you'll be eating alive. Trails to the river are not for novice trail hikers. However, they are worth it. The drive up is tedious, but, also beautiful. The air alone is worth making the drive.
Great campground! It's established with clean bathrooms and numbered sites, but far out enough that it wasn't crowded. It was a great place to camp before heading up to Canyon Creek for a backpacking trip! Nice and clean, please keep it that way!
Beautiful setting with 10 tent-only sites. Several creek-side sites (walk-in). Pit toilet, plus garbage and recycling bins. And best of all, it's free!
It's a good base camp for Canyon Creek. Free camping is a plus as well!
