River Acres RV Park

This RV park is amazing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Richard and Debbie the park managers are the best, they were always there to help and assist in anyway possible. Steve the maintenance man is hard working, friendly and quite simply, I cannot say enough about him ,Richard and Debbie. The park is clean and well maintained. We met so many people and and had get-to-getters frequently. We stayed 2 months and had the best spot, thanks Debbie. The laundry & shower facilities were very clean and accessible. Walking distance to The Guadalupe River where you could relax , kayak or fish. Park is very close to Gonzales and attractions. We will be back. Bobby & Deborah Barbera

We stayed at River Acres for one night on our way south. This was the only park around the area who had a website to reserve online. Sunday, we were tired and just wanted to be done for the day. This is a nice park, a tad difficult to find your way in, but eventually Debbie and Zane came to our rescue! Staff was REALLY great! Our only issue with the park is it truly seems like a full-time park, which is not what the website leads you to believe. They are definitely working on the park. It’s convenient to the highway and it’s a nice overnight stop. I did get to do some laundry which was “ok”. Would I stay again, probably NOT for $53.00. Fee for booking online and using your card.

Found this place looking for RV parks on the lower Guadalupe River (east of I-35). They have quite a bit of almost private riverfront that is easy to swim in and the fishing is good, too. The rates are very reasonable and park is very well maintained and has all the amenities you need for a short term or longer term stay (showers, laundry, full hook up, etc.) There are also kayaks available for excursions up or down river. We’ll definitely revisit.

Many giant trees shading the entire place. Friendly atmosphere with onsite staff that cares. Love access to the secluded bend of the Guadalupe River. Strongly recommend with many services available including RV wash and camp gear for sale.

Nice park within walking distance of the Guadalupe River. The common area along the river is very nice with large grassy areas, docks for fishing or just watching the river flow by. The sites are level and large enough for our motorhome and tow vehicle. Staff is helpful and friendly. We arrived the day before Thanksgiving and they asked if we had holiday plans and invited us to the park get together. We will definitely stay here when we are in the area again.
