River Campground, LLC.

We had the perfect trip! The campground was extremely clean and well taken care of. Intimate but well spaced out, we had plenty of space for our group of 6 (three tents) at site #19. Not to mention electricity, easy access to the communal sink, firewood delivery right to our campsite, and HOT SHOWERS!! The scenery was beautiful and between the lovely owners and friendly long-term campers we felt very safe and welcome. We had picked this place over staying at some of the campgrounds closer to Helen GA, where we originally intended to visit, and I’m so grateful we did. It’s only 45 mins out from the popular tourist destination and well worth the scenic drive and escape from the crowded campgrounds that would’ve been closer. This was the perfect place to introduce our friends into the camping hobby for our annual military reunion and we would love to stay again next year! Thank you so much!

I stayed on one of the rent sites that sat along the river, and it was wonderful! It was so nice to have the shelter when it rained, but I also could setup my hammock and just sit and relax with the river right next to me. Across the US, this is probably my most favorite campsite ever. The owners are also wonderful and kind, and take excellent care of the place! I'm really hoping they did okay with Hurricane Helene, which I think went right over them, because I'd love to come back as soon as I can get back out that way!

I'm so glad my friends picked this location for my first camping trip because it was awesome! They had so many levels of comfort at the different sites, but we stayed at #19 and it was more than enough. The Pavillion has lights and outlets that we used as a food prep area, and it was close to the campfire, so cooking was a breeze. The entire campground is beautiful and my dogs loved walking around and laying in the fallen leaves. Also, the fact that they delivered firewood was a top notch. The bathrooms were kept virtually spotless. The camp sink was nice touch lol I was very happy to have dishes that were more than just "camp clean." Everyone i spoke to, staff or otherwise, was kind and respectful. I'm so excited to go back!

We stayed 3 nights and it was the best campground we've ever stayed at. The leaves were changing and the weather was cool. We rented campsite #19 which is a group site. We had 6 people and some dogs and still had way more room than we needed. Plenty of parking on site. There was an awesome structure with electric for us to cook/eat and hang out. It's close enough to the fire pit to still enjoy conversation. Our site felt secluded yet safe. The bathrooms were exactly what we needed with showers included. Not a far walk at all from the site. We didn't spend too much time at the little rec center but it was in the perfect spot with little activities. A large trash can and grill come on site and that's amazing. The thing that really made our trip was the owner and his hosts. They were there whenever we called/texted. Firewood delivery (9-9) became the best thing for us. We used it all day and night since it was pretty chilly. We got a huge bundle for $10. I think I saw ice as well (don't quote me). Overall, we will be back soon!

Tim was wonderful! If we needed anything he was there! Site 15 was perfect for our Mother daughter camping trip. We loved our weekend get away! It was such a clean place with a perfect spot next to the river! We'll be back next month!
