The staff is so sweet and super on top of service. The food is amazing! I don't normally go for grilled chicken or an open face sandwich (I would normally order the burger) but between a perfect cook on the chicken and Jeff's green chili, my order of choice is the smothered grilled chicken sandwich. Always good music, cozy atmosphere, beautiful surroundings outside. Beautiful surroundings and when the traffic is light, you can hear the river running. Truly my favorite hidden gem in the Thompson Canyon.

This is like that show twin peaks or the twilight zone. Always different acts and the menu while limited, is a Michelin rated burger. Always has the liqour or other spirits that I like. The staff are down to earth non-judgemental spectacular examples of 1980’s Americans. Just great heartwarming people.

The beautiful ride up Big Thompson Canyon from Loveland is one of our favorites. We've always wanted to stop here and finally did. The atmosphere is wonderful, the bands was fantastic, the food was amazing, and the hospitality was the best (Rose is just delightful). We have a new favorite place. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars)

This hotel is a gem. The view is beautiful, the location is basically perfect, the staff is great and helpful, and the room was exactly what we needed. Robin got us checked in at midnight and was an excellent host. We plan on coming back regularly... I personally can't remember a more pleasant experience with a hotel like this, out in nature and intended as a getaway. I wrote this immediately after checking out. Stay at this place, you won't be disappointed.

The lodging is clean, but the bathrooms are shared. Our bed was rather hard. There is also a bar downstairs so if you are trying to go to bed before midnight, expect to hear loud karaoke every night. The owner is very friendly and is happy to recommend good local attractions and directions. Overall is was fine place to stay, but definitely no frills.
