The place is well maintained. The bathrooms need some sprucing, but they are pretty clean. The campground employees are pretty amazing, and do a pretty decent job keeping the place clean. Some of the guests; not so much. People were leaving trash everywhere, or allowing it to blow away, some left deflated inflatables and other toys in the water to float away, and some of the guests are just plain rude and inconsiderate. My sister and I, and some of our family are members, spent a lot of our time cleaning up after people because we like to enjoy our time, but find it is difficult when there is trash everywhere. Take pride in your environment and be respectful of others. My only other complaint would be no wifi. We could not communicate with family members running errands to the store. All-in-all, it was a nice stay.
Very nice state park. Very clean and peaceful. They have made changes to the dog park and it is really nice. They put picnic tables out that are covered to help with the elements. We enjoy camping here and book it a few times a year.
