River John's staff are so accommodating and kind. Just great folks. They make it easier to shuttle and we really appreciated it.
Nice owner $15 to park here and put in or take out kayaks to float the river. Very reasonably considering river access is extremely limited downstream of coulter's bridge.

Super nice people and a shallow slice of heaven
This is a great getaway. The guys in our church went as a Father-Son canoe trip and it was a blast. You can rent the island but if you plan to spend the night youll need to bring your own sleeping accommodations. The canoe trips are a good length but you will need to be careful through a couple of the rapids. A couple people got stuck or turned sideways and flipped. Thankfully the Little River is gentle enough not to pose any serious danger.
