Spent 2 very short nights here (wish we had stayed longer) and had the best camping trip our large family has had in at least 3 years! The river is beautiful and clean. the bathrooms were well maintained . (I wish other campers would understand that vault toilets are meant to be shut when not in use) the camp host was absolutely wonderful. The water spigot near 4 &5 h has really low pressure but it is at the end of the grounds so I'm sure that has alot to do with it! We can't wait to come back again very soon!
Gorgeous spot to get away. Potable water around, vaulted toilets, spots are spacious. Can't speak enough on how helpful owners were when booking. They were great! The campground host was great help and loved meeting and talking him. He was very helpful and informative. Be aware of your surroundings! Mosquitos are very present, not many but some yellow jackets, we went to hang out in the trailer due to the skunk coming around, and my daughters were worried. Bats were fun to watch in the evening. Pack your trash out! No garbage service. Great little spot to get away from the lights.
Where to begin. The Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had rent R1 which was really small but the owners moved us to a bigger site which ended up being really nice water was close by literally steps away. There was skunks for the most part left us alone. Bathrooms were cleaned Friday and Sunday. In all we plan on going next year again. One more thing it’s very shady so when it was hot it was still cool enough to be comfortable.
My fiance and I were here for a few nights mid April. We LOVED it. Go to their website, and reserve a spot before someone else does! We arrived shortly after the check in time. We were approached by a very friendly and peaceful camp tender. He directed us to our camp site and answered the few questions we had. We made camp and headed back up to the camp tender, and paid for a few bundles of firewood. He loaded us up with two large bundles of firewood which was seasoned and ready to burn. The campsite was very clean. Not a bit of trash, scraps, or evidence from previous campers. The foliage in the area is heavy and vibrant green. The campsites were cleared out of extra foliage and ready for use. There is wifi close to the check in area, very clean running water bathrooms, and showers. We did not experience any pests or rodents out of your typical Sonora wildlife. Lots of birds, and tons of different types of trees. Beautiful place to camp and I will be returning here.
They have recently made a lot of upgrades that I really enjoy check out the museum if you get the chance a lot of really cool stuff in there I love that they kept Cedo and his family although Frank is missed deeply! They put gravel on all the roads to help with dust upgraded the shower nozzles and did a lot of getting rid of poison oak I love this place
