Customer Reviews
The sites are close together & it is situated between a couple of road bridges. The road noise is constant. All sites are cement & pretty level. It is right on the river w/a boat launch. Looked like a large dog park & there's a volleyball grass court. We only saw one camp host couple & they were quite nice. There is cable & the WiFi worked great.
Location is great , convenient to many stores and activities . Our water views was beautiful and spacious with ample room for our 46 foot 5th wheel , dually and extra vehicle . We even had enough room to drop down our balcony over the water . Larry, the camp host was incredibly friendly and welcoming . He kept us updated about the park and was very helpful in general. The dog park is quite large and my dogs enjoyed being able to run . The bathrooms are clean and not a far walk from our site . The green belt is well kept and very green.
It is a convenient location and the staff were friendly enough, however the actual location is under the freeway so there is a lot of road noise all night. It is literally under the bridge by the river. The sites were concrete but quite small. We had a 10 x 15 patch of grass that had dog poop and trash in it when we arrived. Seemed that this small of an area could have been raked between campers to provide a better, cleaner experience. We paid for 3 nights but left after 1. Won't stop again.
I35 runs almost directly overhead (as other reviewers have noted). This was not a big deal though because the park was great. The river sites are beautiful and large enough for an additional vehicle. The dog park was very large and the river was a nice place to cool off or enjoy with a cup of coffee in the morning. We'll definitely be coming back!
The spots are very nice cement slabs with nice hookups. Noise is an issue if you park under the bridge. The park itself is very run down, grassy areas no longer exist. We stayed here several years ago, which is when the pictures were taken for the website. It no longer looks like this. It has many residential sites with run down looking rvs. Window units hanging out etc...
