A great little campground with a great host who has gone above and beyond for us! We’re also amazed at how quiet it is here even being almost full! Beautiful trees and pond with lots of birds. Bike/walking trail right behind the campground AND a playground. And Luverne very close for those forgotten items. Something for everyone!
Nice little overnight. Two bathroom/shower. No laundry. This was our first hip camp. It's well kept. Not the fault of the campground, but we were in spot 11 and 10 has dogs. Watch your step around the electric meter. I would bet they will not clean it up.
Nice campground and the host was great. My only complaint is the dump station is impossible to turn into if you have a bigger camper (ours is 32 feet). We had to pass it up go up to the bridge, back into a road then was able to pull into the dump station. Wouldn't of had to do this if the dump hole was on the street side.
Close enough to the highway for an overnight stay, but far enough from the noise. Easy pull-thru spot. The campground was a lot nicer than I expected. Beautiful bike/walking trail behind the campground that leads you into town, which is very convenient if you don’t want to disconnect.
Honestly, it is a good deal to have a campsite with electricity and water for 30$. It is a good place close to the highway but with a nice view with kind campers and owner dropped by to say high and he was very nice. Washrooms and showers are okay, not fantastic but pretty decent. It is quiet and well maintained and may be a small campground but I see this as a plus. We are in transit to the badlands and quite happy to have stopped here. Giving 4 stars b/c campsites are small and could be challenging (for us) to spend more than a night but I have seen smaller campsites. So an honest and nice place to stop. Thanks
