River's Edge Resort at Heber Valley

Our experience started 2 weeks before we arrived with an angry phone call from the manager about our barking dog in the cabin. We explained that we had not checked in yet, and live in another state. We laughed it off but that started our negative experience. When checking in we were not initially provided with bed sheets or blankets for our cabin. We had to go back and ask. Cabin was great. Beautiful location. Close to town. Unfriendly staff.

Enjoyed our overnight at River’s Edge. Site is well maintained and the amenities are good. We especially liked the “clubhouse “ with a pool table, comfy sectional and cable tv. Nice walk along the canal with pretty views of the valley.

Excellent property and staff! Girls trip this year was fantastic. Beautiful area. Cabins were clean! Very accommodating. Would recommend! We’re returning next year!

Update: They reached out to us via email. They really do have top notch customer service. Our stay at Rivers Edge Campground had its ups and downs. The location is beautiful, and the staff at check-in were incredibly nice and accommodating. However, our experience with the cabin itself was disappointing. When we arrived, it was clear that the cabin had not been properly cleaned or prepared for our stay. There were no sheets on the bed, the soap dispenser was empty, and the trash cans were without bags. Even the toilets were not cleaned. We brought these issues to the attention of the check-in staff, who were responsive and did their best to rectify the situation. They promptly provided us with the missing linens and offered complimentary snacks and towels as compensation for the inconvenience. Their customer service was commendable and the main reason we are rating our experience with three stars. Overall, while we appreciated the efforts of the staff to make things right, the initial cleanliness and preparation of the cabin fell short of our expectations. With improved attention to cleaning and room preparation, our stay could have easily been a five-star experience.

Great spot with great service. Helped me out quickly when i accidentally locked myself out of the unit after hours. Very good bang for the buck for a quick staycation with my kids
