- "We stayed here for our honeymoon! The owner is so kind and welcoming! The cutest little dog! Plenty of games and DVDs to pick from in the office. Very efficient for our stay. Kitchen came with a ton of different cooking pans, pots, oven pans, and utensils. We loved the view of the river. It snowed overnight and stayed snowing. It was wonderful. Heating was perfect. Water pressure and water temperature were perfect. The couch was so comfortable we fell asleep. Bed was a little firm, but we slept very comfortably. There are foam pads available. Overall, we would definitely come back and with family. The most welcoming people in town. Honestly, the perfect place to stay if you plan on going to the national park."

I'm here now for my birthday (new years eve ) we paid for 2 days and I don't even want to stay the 2nd day. Can't use the jacuzzi tub and it's literally the only reason we rented a room. This is supposed to be the most romantic day of the year and our water will not get hot it's not even luke warm. I would've preferred my bathtub at home it gets hotter The room is freezing and fire place bairly lets hot air out and can't get into the tub to warm up ! we had to boil water on the stove 10 pots of water and it's still not warm. there is a sign that says if you run out of hot water to wait a full 10 mins to run it again , the problem with that is it only fills the tub up 5 inches and u wait 10 mins and its cold again so there is literally no way to use the jacuzzi tub , we complained and told them the room is freezing the the tub is useless. they offfed for us to leave and get reimbursed for the day ! absolutely ridiculous that i paid for 2 days and now we have no where else to go on the busiest day of the year and my birthday everything is booked. i shouldn't of paid for 1 day let alone 2 days to have a miserable time. Will never stay here again , completely ridiculous paying these prices and can't even use the tub. will leave bad reviews based on this experience that i wish i could forget ! thanks for my husband for trying so hard , no extra blankets anywhere either ! we stayed at timber and i've stayed at bear paw. bear paw was nicer
Just returned from Colorado yesterday, and we stayed in one of the Bear Paw suites while in Estes. The two bedroom was perfect for our family of four. It was clean and suited all of our needs, the property managers were responsive and kind, and the location couldn't be beat. It is sandwiched between Estes Park downtown and one of the entrances to RMNP. We really enjoyed our stay and if we return to Estes Park, we will stay again. Thank you! Also, Otis (their dog) was just the cherry on top-- such an adorable dog that our kids loved.
First time in Estes Park and stayed in the Bear Paw #9. Very nice place and we had a wonderful experience, even with the heavy snowfall. Amanda and Shane who manage the place were awesome. Even with 2 or 3 feet of snow they made sure to check on everyone in our party and ask if we had everything we needed. They had the parking lot and all the walkways cleared up as soon as the sun come up the next day and continued the effort over the next couple of days as the snow continued. Even cleaned and maintained the hot tubs through all this! We were all impressed.
Location is great and the scenery is stellar. Cabin was well equipped minus laundry detergent. I rented a two bedroom with 3 beds to sleep 3 people. The twin bed in the upstairs bedroom (also included a double) needed to be replaced, the bed sunk when sitting on it. 2 adults ended up sharing a double. There was a mouse in our unit the last night that we weren’t able to catch and let out. We saw it multiple times in the kitchen throughout the evening. Upon checking out, I let the mgmt know of the terrible bed option and mouse and nothing was offered as far as reimbursement goes which was disappointing, some form of credit would’ve been appreciated.
