River View Rv Park

The owners are awesome people,and are full of information about the area. The sites were plenty big for my 38ft coach, however they are just stone and with a lot of rain there were a lot of puddles. Having said that the view was amazing from the benches that overlook Fort Pierre/Pierre. We will definitely stay here again if we're ever back in the area. It does get windy sometimes on top of the hill so that is something to consider.

Located at the top of a hill. Has a beautiful view but is very state park vibe with no pool or other fancy amenities (does have a small playground). Park owners are very friendly and helpful. Laundry is average price but showers cost. Open skyline for using starlink. We enjoyed watching fireworks for the 4th of July as we overlooked the capital city, Pierre. Conveniently located less than 2 hours from Badlands and 3 hours from Mount Rushmore. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed one night tent camping, forgot the name of the lady who checked me in and oriented me with the site. She was super nice! The grass was fluffy, soft, flat, and an ideal area for tent camping. The views from here are worth the stay. The facilities are very clean! The campground, super clean too! Tried to do my part by picking up some trash that wasn't mine and had a hard time finding a small piece. Eventually found a bottle cap dug into the gravel and got it done. This is a great alternative to the state park for my experience. Definitely more accommodating than any other camping I've done in the past

This campground was great we were there for the 4th of July and had awesome views of all the fireworks. We were tent camping and the owners were awesome people let us use there black stone and had tables under roof to use. Allowed it were we only had to get a couple things out. Also had candy for the kids. Bath rooms were very nice and clean.

The view was amazing and the owners were fantastic. The park was a little on the small side but it was clean and it was well worth the stay. We wished we could have stayed another night. They have good amenities especially if you have younger kids.

This RV park has a great view of Pierre, the state capitol building, and the Missouri River. Site was level and hookups were good. It was beautiful at night, too. Owner is onsite and provides great customer service. We stopped for one night. She took the time to ask where we were headed and brought maps and brochures that were very helpful. She takes pride in the park and it shows.

This campground is on a high ridge with great views over the river. The campsites are level with gravel. The sunrise was red due to the smoke from the Canada fires
