Riverbend Cottage & RV Resort

An absolute gem if you are looking for a place of peace. They offer a variety of options for accommodations. The environment is like walking through an enchanted forest. Birds, bunnies and wildlife everywhere and the Englishman River flows directly behind as well. The location is right across the road from Rathtrevor Beach, Parksville BC Vancouver Island. The staff are all so friendly, kind and welcoming. You will not regret a visit here!! I highly recommend!

I stayed in a yurt, with a friend and my dog, ifir two nights in August. The yurt was really comfortable and the entire resort was so quiet at night that I slept soundly, to a raven's call at sunrise. I'd stayed in a cabin previously and it was basic and comfy. I've found staff on both occasions to be very friendly and helpful.

Bill will straight up judge you on what you look like. I gave in an application and after a week and a half with my references not being contacted. I called to check up on if there was a status of where my application would be. I was told he will not move forward with my application. Because we don't want people like you in our park... I ride a motorcycle and wear a leather vest. Other then that I a working 36 year old single male with a single cat. But people like you have no room in my park.... Judging by some of the other reviews this isn't new of this guy. There are plenty of other parks in the area that have very nice management I'd suggest to take your families there.

We spent 4 months at Riverbend Resort and have loved every moment. The atmosphere is relaxed, clean, safe and family oriented. The showers are wonderful and the beaches are gorgeous. Carmen, Bill and all the grounds crew staff are wonderful, friendly and very attentive to patrons needs. We felt very taken care of and will be back for many stays. We camped in a tent here for 4 nights. Everything was very clean and quiet even though it’s (conveniently) in such a central location. The campground has toilets, showers, laundry machines, dryers, a sink for washing dishes, and private access to the river which has a sandy beach. There is a park for children to play in as well as a communal area in the middle. The lady at the front desk was so incredibly kind and helpful. We would come back here 100%. Heads up: The showers, washers & dryers require tokens which can be purchased from the front desk until 9 PM.
