We were in the back area with lots of grass and a nice concrete patio. Area was very clean and well manicured and staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Location was wonderful and convenient to grocery stores, Walmart and restaurants. The only negative was the abundance of mosquitoes particularly in the late afternoon and evening. Could not sit outside and eat dinner and enjoy the cool evenings. Walking our little dog through the grass made them just swarm all over us. Wish we could have enjoyed it more as the site was really nice.
This RV park is super clean and well cared for. The owners put a lot of love into this park and are well liked by the guests who stay here. Even during autumn with falling leaves, the grounds are kept very clean. The RV spots are raked and a leveling chain is dragged across the gravel when they are empty (much like you would see done at a baseball field). The cabin we stayed in was immaculate and has dishes, cookware, paper towels, hand towels, bath towels, etc. It was ready for us to stay for several nights. The bed is comfortable. Fast wifi worked well for my husband, not as consistent for my own laptop, though. There is a very nice laundry room with probably 6 washers and 6 dryers that take quarters or a smart app through your phone. The shower/bathroom is large and very clean. I was impressed, although I showered in the cabin I rented. The Uncompagre River runs along the RV park. Albeit the water moves rapidly through this area, my husband was able to fish it and catch a few trout from the river bank. The guests are respectful of noise at night and it was quiet, easy to sleep well.
Had an amazing stay for 2 weeks! Staff members are amazing sweet and hospitable! Will absolutely be back! The only thing that I noticed was there is not a dresser or place to hand clothes. Not a big deal. Still 100 of 10 recommend! You won't regret it!
I don’t usually review places, but Riverbend RV park and Cabins was outstanding. We stayed in a rustic cabin for 4 nights. The cabin was excellent in every way. It was extremely clean, beautifully decorated and maintained with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The grounds were very well maintained and had beautiful flowers. It was very safe with a coded gate. We loved staying here.
One of the cutest and most well kept campgrounds I’ve stayed at. The restrooms were cleaner than most public restrooms. The staff and owners were very friendly. They are dog friendly as well. We brought our two dogs and the owner greeted us with some treats and let us know where their small dog park was. It was very quiet at night and very peaceful by the river. Only 30 minutes from the black canyon as well. Also, such a cute town it’s in.
