Riverbend RV Park-Campground

I had the pleasure of spending my vacation at Riverbend Campground, and I can confidently say it was the best camping experience I’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the stunning scenery and the soothing sounds of the water right at our doorstep. The campground itself is impeccably clean, with well-maintained grounds that make you feel right at home in nature. The attention to cleanliness extends to the bathrooms, which were spotless and well-stocked throughout our stay. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in maintaining a high standard for their facilities. Being right on the water was the highlight for us. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and simply relaxing by the shore with breathtaking views. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind and connect with nature—exactly what we were looking for in a camping vacation. Overall, Riverbend Campground exceeded all my expectations. If you’re seeking a pristine location with excellent facilities and a perfect backdrop for outdoor activities, look no further. I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable getaway!

A really pleasant peaceful place. New starlink Wi-Fi works great. Do NOT follow the last 2 miles of Google maps directions up Bee Tree Rd. Bee Tree is not a road for an RV!

I stayed here one night on my way back to Asheville from Highlands. The owner was very kind and communicative. The shower was hot and the WiFi worked great.

Absolutely wonderful place to call home for a few days or even longer. Brenda was very hands on, as well, the other campers were very nice and welcoming. Nice shady spot, very quiet and enjoyable atmosphere. Time definitely flew by, so wish the stay was longer. Will definitely return. Great experience and wonderful memories.

Beautiful. We went tenting there arrived super late and the Lady Brenda was very patient with us. All sites are right next to the river. Hope in the future the site might provide an outdoor sink for those who don't have a camper, and would love to have a small laundry room too.

We're experienced campers and this campground offers much in the way of easy living with a river right behind it. The owners Jody and Tim are very on top of things and cordial. They go out of their way to make your stay a wonderful experience and come back for more.

We've been to this campground almost every year for the last 6 or 7 years. We've been in the spring, summer, and fall. It's beautiful any season. We tent camp wherever we go and this is by far our favorite campground. You have easy water access where 2 rivers merge. The campground recently came under new management so I'm always a little nervous with any changes but we had a great experience. There is a new shelter with lots of tables and chairs. The RV sites are newly paved and graveled. The women's bathroom has been remodeled and more functional with stools in the showers and handrails. I know there are more plans to renovate in the future as well. We enjoyed the memorial weekend festivities, a bluegrass band came to play, and we had a camp wide potluck. There is a new doggy park there now for your pups, our pup enjoyed her time roaming around the park. Jodi is a great host and easy to communicate with her. My parents used their camper for the first time this weeken and they enjoyed the RV sites as well. We will definitely be back!

Top notch campground for RVs! The site is beautiful. The owners are incredible. My fiancè and I stayed for a week and we had no problems and a beautiful view! There’s fresh water, power, and septic hook ups for your camper! Behind the campers runs a beautiful river which just adds to the serenity of the campground. 20/10 would stay again.

For Memorial Day weekend we wanted to find a camp ground on the river. We don’t have a camper so we planned to tent camp on the river. We ran into one issue the weather didn’t call for tent camping. Thanks to Riverbend we did not have to cancel our plans. They have a luxury camper available to rent. We stayed two nights and three days. Our first day was busy between fishing and having dinner with live music at the campground. The other campers were very friendly. Our children made friends, they were able to ride their bikes with and enjoy the great outdoors. Our second day was spent at the Highland Outpost at the recommendation of Riverbend’s owners. It was a neat experience between the mountain roller coaster, tubing slide and stocked pond.we finished our second day out by the river catching enough trout to have for dinner. We ended our last day packing up and of course fishing one last time (this river is so well stocked it’s hard to stop). This has been amazing experience I look forward to turning into a tradition.
