Riverfront RV Park & Marina Introduce

Riverfront RV Park & Marina, located at 8364 Heckscher Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32226, USA, offers a waterfront location with marina access. However, potential visitors should be aware of serious negative reviews and consider them carefully before booking.

You can reach them at (904) 251-3191 or +1 904-251-3191.

Recent customer reviews indicate significant issues with management, resident behavior, and overall park conditions. Here are some critical points to consider:

  • Poor Management: Reviews describe rude and unprofessional behavior from management, including a lack of customer service and unhelpful interactions.
  • Safety Concerns: Reports of animal attacks (dogs and cats) and altercations with long-term residents raise serious safety concerns.
  • Resident Issues: The park appears to be heavily populated by long-term residents, some of whom are described as problematic.
  • Park Conditions: The park's overall condition is described as poor, with a focus on the surrounding natural beauty rather than the park itself.
  • Lack of Amenities: There is mention of a lack of proper check-in facilities, with the office located in a fifth wheel.
  • Flooding Risks: The park is reported to be susceptible to flooding during hurricanes.
  • Limited Nearby Amenities: The only nearby amenity mentioned is a Circle K convenience store.
  • Threats and Evictions: Reports of fake eviction notices and threats from management are present.

The park's location near the water and a public boat ramp/marina across the road are the only consistently mentioned positive aspects. However, these do not outweigh the significant negative experiences reported by former visitors and residents.

Strong Recommendation: Potential visitors are strongly advised to visit the park in person before making any reservations. The negative reviews highlight serious concerns that should not be ignored.

Due to the severity of the reported issues, alternative RV parks in the area may be a safer and more enjoyable option.

There is a reason the featured photos for this campsite focus on the surrounding nature and not the actual RV Park! This could be such a cool place if it was renovated and if the management was replaced. I was in the area and stopped by to see the RV park. Looking at the website and how we love nature and kayaking and fishing it seemed like a place we would want to stay. When I arrived my first impression was to turn around and lock my doors. I decided to drive through and see how the campsites looked in the back. I met a very nice guy that pointed me to the office that was located in a fifth wheel. He said they were open, I knocked on the door and was greeted by a not so nice lady that looked like she had just rolled out of bed and informed me that the office was not open. I asked if they had any available sites feeling like I needed to say something to validate why I woke her up and she said there was a waiting list. I was not at all interested but as she went back in the camper to get her notebook I felt obligated at this point..or still trying to have validate why she was dragged out of bed. The first question was how big is your rig, I know I should know this, but it’s a fith wheel we are new to this lifestyle and I was not 100% sure. I said it’s around 40 to 45 feet maybe but I’m not sure. Looking around I spotted a rig exactly like what we have and said it’s just like that one.. she insulted me bc I did not have the exact measurements and said she could not help me if I could not tell her. I said, “you know what never mind, you have a nice day”and she was like well give me your information and I will add you. I said at this point I am not interested. The location could make up for the lack of everything this park has to offer, if I was tucked away in the back away from the mess and on the water. But the rudeness from this lady and knowing I would have to deal with that…would make me not even consider this RV Park even if the place was as nice as the website makes it out to be. She was so rude and just mean. The only thing keeping her park open would have to be the price and the park/boat ramp/marina across the road. I will gladly stay where I’m at and drive 45 minutes to enjoy the pictures on her website. Because these are places you can enjoy outside of this mess that I drove into. Anyone considering this place needs to visit it before putting money down to reserve a lot. Hopefully one of the water locations will be open and this lady will be out of bed and in a good mood.

I lived there 5 years and was attacked by 5 dogs, 2 cats and 2 tenants,,,,both which still reside there. Unless you plan on wearing armor and carrying a weapon I wouldn't stay there. When I was as attacked the owner blamed me and tried to scare me away with fake evictions notes and childish threats. It is run by a gang of long term residents that get away with everything. Floods during hurricanes and nothing around but a Circle K. Anywhere is better...youve been warned!!!!

It is quiet and has great views. Fishing and crabbing from the pier. Just a few miles from the Ferry, The Jetties, Little and Big Talbot Island and so much more.

This is a very nice campground. It's located right on Sister's Creek and has a great view of the water. Across the street is a city park with a boat ramp, playground and dock where you can fish. It's also incredibly quiet, which we love. Do double check regarding children before booking. I believe everyone in your party must be 21 or older. (One of the reasons for the quiet 😁) The hosts are making some upgrades to the park and we've already decided to come back at some point. We lived in the area previously and were not familiar with this area and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
