A Hidden Gem - Exceptional Camping Experience! Rating: 5/5 stars I'm thrilled to share my outstanding experience at The Rivers bend campsite! As a seasoned camper (43 years young!), I've had the pleasure of visiting numerous campsites, but this one stands out from the rest. The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and dedicated to ensuring a comfortable stay. Initially, the community may seem a bit reserved, but don't let that deter you - they soon warm up, and the atmosphere becomes peaceful and serene. I've found my new go-to camping spot, and I'm eager to return every summer (if not more often!). The Rivers bend campsite offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. We were fortunate to arrive during a gentle rain, which allowed us to set up our tent under a pavilion - a blessing in disguise! This sheltered spot made our camping trip even more amazing, as we avoided the scorching sun beating down on us in the morning. We were so enchanted by the campsite and its surroundings that we extended our stay from two nights to three - and still didn't want to leave! The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the excitement of exploring Kingsford and Iron Mountain, made for an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed fishing, rafting, and camping, all within walking distance. Thank you, The Rivers bend campsite, for an incredible experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a tranquil and fun camping experience. We'll be back soon!

Stayed in fhu pull in spot #11 at the end of June. No wi-fi. Grassy gravel spot but level. There is a cement pad next to it with a picnic table which is nice. Across the way is a view of the Menominee River and a tall bridge. There's also a little canal that you can tie up a little watercraft. The park is mostly made up of what looks like permanent residents. Most of the water's edge is occupied by these homes. I wasn't sure if you could walk along there or if it was private. There were trailers onsite. One with washers and dryers and the other contained 3 separate bathroom shower combos. I was curious about the washers and dryers so I called the office and was advised they were free to use. I was going to be checking out that day so I wasn't going to be using them but she said to go ahead because no one would be coming into my spot so I could do laundry. That was very nice of her. However, the machines took longer than expected both to wash and to dry. In fact, I changed dryers and still my clothes were damp close to 2 hours later. I needed to leave so took them out damp and hung them all around the RV to dry while I drove all day to my next location. While I waited for my laundry I took a shower. The bathrooms are a little tight. The shower handle was different. I had to hold it for the water to stay on and the water was not warming up so it was an interesting shower. All and all it's a nice area and if you need a spot for a night or two it works.

We stayed in site 99. I don't what to say the that the pictures can't. Staff was more than helpful. We explored the area and went up to Marquette for a day then out to Pictured Rocks. Our sight was very nice, above what We've seen in other parks. Direct access to the water via a private steps to a small dock. We enjoyed nights with a fire under the stars. No problems with power or leveling. Park is under new management and are making upgrades around the park. We camped at Rivers Bend Campground in a Motorhome

One of the nicest RV park we every been to. Clean bathrooms and sites. Grass sites not dirt, and level. Site 99 is unbelievable, right on the river, super quiet and serene. The view of the bridge and from the bridge are breathtaking. Staff and other campers super friendly and lots of outdoor activities. Bring your kayak or float or you'll regret it. We'll be back, that's a promise.
