Rivers Edge Campground

Excellent campground. We stayed 3 nights. Bathrooms and showers are first class for campground. Nicely laid out. Friendly staff. Good location as we found things to do but had to travel bit farther than we liked. Expect we will return.

Overall, it was a nice campground and we would definitely stay again if we visit the area. The bath house was great - the best shower facilities I have experienced in a campground. The hookups worked perfectly. The rv sites were too close together for me and the fire ring placement in my site and many other sites was awkward because they were placed toward the front of the camp site where people are constantly walking past you and does not give you any privacy when hanging out by the fire. Some of the sites do have fire rings in the back so if we stayed again, we, would choose one of those sites.

We absolutely loved this campground! From the owners to the campground itself, it didn’t disappoint in any way, shape, or form! Everything was spacious with more than enough room to pull your camper in no matter the size! The streams were beautiful, the swimming hole and fishing ponds had breathtaking views, and plenty of fish to catch and release! We saw plenty of deer and the eagles nest too! The rock garden and fun rock scavenger hunt was an added bonus with encouragement to get outside as a family and explore! Not to mention the Sparkling clean, modern bath houses were amazing! We personally loved every aspect of this campground and by far our favorite campground we have ever been to! We will absolutely be back!

Brand new campground. It’s located in a great, secluded location with great views. Very nice, new facilities. The campground sites ate very spacious and are well laid out. We had a nice, relaxing stay and hope to return in the spring.

Our stay at River’s Edge was wonderful, from the help as we pulled in on Friday at dark to the support and answers from the camp hosts on Sunday. The weekend was great, we enjoyed walking the nature trail, observing the bald eagles, meeting kind people, and RELAXING. The camp store had everything we needed and the bath houses were very modern and clean. Looking forward to coming back and bringing family.
