• "I grew up here in the summers of the late 70’s - 80’s. It was an awesome spot for fishing. My grandfather helped start this campground with Mr. Tardoff. My grand father brought all his friends and relatives there and in the 80’s it boomed. Then Mr. Beek bought it and modernized it to other camp grounds. Pavilion, bass tournaments etc. I kinda miss the place. BTW the 5 star rating dates back to when I went there. I haven’t been there in over 25yrs. Hide and seek and using the pop machine as home base was our fav thing to do. And drink the pop. I was a mt dew junkie."
