Great campground! Not very much shade, but right next to the river. Great spot for fishing. Noise from the dam was pretty loud in our site (site 16), but wasn't a deal breaker. Lake is a short drive away. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. The view of the stars at night was stunning! Will be back!
A bit out of my way on a long road trip but I am so glad I took the time to stop here. The park had great sites and everyone was unbelievably nice. I thought I was back in Canada for a minute. The shade and river were great features.
Nice campground, I enjoyed this campground for over 35 years. Nice access to the lake and river. Best enjoyed in the middle of the week during the summer.
We go about every year for an event. Always a nice place with river noise all night.
Not the best view ever. Close to the lake and river though. Has vault toilets. Campgrounds are all fairly close to each other. With some shade trees. Everything was decent and convenient though. Will go back in the future.
