Customer Reviews
The host was very helpful and kind when we first arrived. He brought us firewood as well, which was nice though it was too cold to use it. We were here during the off-season. The water and bathrooms were not working due to the severe cold however we expected this. Just something to keep in mind if you’re coming during the off-season. We have a 23 foot-long class c motorhome. Really the only downside aside from not having water was that the bridge is very narrow for RVs. If you’re considering staying here with your RV, I would maybe contact the host for the dimensions of the bridge. The sign said it was a limit of 5 tons. We only had a few inches on either side when we were crossing in our relatively small motorhome. I think it’d be great for primitive camping, but iffy on RVs due to the bridge
Donna was so wonderful! She took us in at 9pm after a failed attempt of finding our BLM spot. Cute little campground with a real bathroom. Will agree with other reviews, the bridge was scary to cross with our truck camper, but we’re still alive!
Close to Bryce just 2 miles north of Route 12 on US 89. Owner, Mike was very accommodating and saved me a spot when I called. He was there to greet me when I arrived and showed me my campsite and offered me firewood and water fill up. Such large campsites and really a hidden gem right on the river.
My wife and I were site seeing and randomly found this amazing hidden campsite! We first met the owner Mike and he explained all about the things to do at this campsite., water rafting on the creek, Bike trails and horseback riding. As for amenities included.Electric hook ups and water. Mike . personally took us on a hike to see an old historic house with interesting history about it. This was an amazing memorable summer trip and can’t wait to return next summer.
DId reservation couple of days before arrival, including payment, which was a must. No confirmation received. Send email next morning, no response. Next day I sent email I have to cancel it, as I have no confirmation, no response. Tried to call when I was around, but only machine answer, no call back, nobody at the property. Till now, no contact and not received my payment about 75 USD back - despite the fact they claim on website, only 3% of the amount is non-refundable. Pity, location was nice, but human approach can ruin everything...
