We stayed in a deluxe cabin and could not have had a better stay. The room was super cozy and beautifully decorated. Everything was very clean. All the staff we encountered was super friendly and helpful and I felt like we could reach out for anything we needed. The location was so beautiful and the shuttle to and from the Mishawaka was seamless. We also got to use the pizza oven which worked great and produced delicious pizza. The coffee shop was an added bonus and a tasty must visit in the morning! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and so would all my friends who we were with!
We had a wonderful time at Riverside Colorado! We stayed in a little dry cabin on the river, it was so cozy and comfortable! We enjoyed campfires and cooking outdoors both nights. Very pleasant! And the camp store had all that we needed and more. Janine (host) was a pleasure to chat with and so friendly. Looking forward to next time.
We had discovered this facility after seeing an article in the Fort Collins Coloradoan. It is a delight to have a retreat up the Poudre River Canyon so close to home. We stayed in the Blue Lake cabin, which has the option of opening up to an adjoining unit for a larger family group's stay. The bed was quite comfortable, and the room more than adequate for our mini-vacation. It was nice to go sit by a fire outside our cabin and socialize with some other folks staying at this resort. They have a well-stocked camp store, and the breakfast treats and coffees available at their little Airstream-based cafe were a great way to start the day. We will be back. . .
My boyfriend and I stayed at Riverside Colorado for three nights, and it was an unforgettable experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and truly went out of their way to make sure we had a special trip. We spent the first two nights glamping in a tent, which was an amazing way to connect with nature, and on the third night, we stayed in a cozy two-person cabin. Both accommodations were wonderful, but if you want to control the temperature, I’d recommend going with the cabin for extra comfort. The facilities were great too—clean bathrooms and showers made our stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights was the cold plunge in the river—so refreshing! We also loved starting our day with breakfast at Kind Bean, served from a charming airstream. The lavender matcha there was delicious! The shuttle service to and from concerts at Mishawaka was super convenient, and shoutout to Mike and Charlie, our shuttle drivers, who were so kind and welcoming. Allyce and Jeannine were amazing and took great care of us with reservations and any onsite needs. In addition to the peaceful surroundings, we enjoyed playing cornhole, and the onsite pizza oven and grills were a nice bonus for cooking our own meals. If you’re looking for a mix of nature, comfort, and exceptional service, Riverside Colorado is the perfect spot. We’ll definitely be back!
We came for a concert from Gunnison with a few of our friends and stayed in a tiny home, it was absolutely amazing! The campground has every you need! Bathrooms, tiny grocery/necessities market, coffee bar, a free shuttle to the venue, + lots of other fun things to do! 100000/10 recommend. Elise was so incredibly kind and helpful 💗 as was the other owner. Please stay here and support this business!
