Great spot on Snake River just before the reservoir. The lower spots on the water are dry camping, but there is a water spicket, trash dumpster and restrooms. The upper area, near the road, has electric hookups. There is a nearby dump station. Beautiful large trees and the river make this an ideal spot.
Vault toilets with hand sanitizer. Mosquitos. But great views of the Snake River and not far at all from Reservoir. Gas station "Rendezvous" nearby sells fishing licenses and some supplies. Very fast water flow, but most people fishing were on drift boats with motor off. Got some bites, but not much around campground area. Only thing is slightly pricey for no hookups/rent camping 🏕️
Great location right on the river. Most sites have shade. Close to town. Highly recommended!
The campground is fairly well maintained. Toward the latter part of the summer the areas that could be grass are pretty dry. The upper section of the campground does have electrical hookup (30amp) for some 10 spaces, however, the section closer to the river does not. None of the sites have water or sewer. Lots of the spaces along the river are double sites so the fee is double. I believe all the sites are first come first serve. The damn is just about 2000' South of the campground. Fishing access is perfect especially if you are launching a float boat.
First come first serve,....17$ a night no hook up and some hook ups, some back in and some pull through. Fires allowed, a day use area just across the street with river access. You can hear traffic at times other than that pretty quiet. Nice flat spots with sand plots for tents too. Bathrooms...NO showers.
