Customer Reviews
Me and my husband stayed here for a couple nights for our weekend getaway. We drove all the way from Wichita Kansas. One thing that attracted us was the location and the price. We were checking in late and didn’t arrive til 3am. But they were accommodating and left us instructions on how we could check in. We got checked in electronically and was left instructions on getting our keys, our room info and even left us a map. It was a quick easy process. Checking out was just as easy. Our entire stay was wonderful, the rooms are Super clean and spacious. The views were breath taking. And the location is convenient. We will be staying here again when we return next year!
Everything about my 3 night stay in September was fantastic! My room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Beautiful views. I will definitely be back
Just a warning to small young families. My family, wife, myself, and 2 young kids, were supposed to stay here. I called to see if I could add an extra day onto my reservation, and I mentioned my 2 kids. This place then decided to call us back and ask how many people were in our party, to which we said 2 adults and 2 young kids. Our reservation was for a king room, which does say it only sleeps 2. So yes, we were wrong.. so they tell us that they can't let us stay there because of fire code. So they cancelled our reservation that we made a month and a half in advance.. the day before we were supposed to check in.. the week of July 4th. They did refund our deposit for us, minus the $50 for credit card transaction fees. I could understand if we were two families bringing in air mattresses or something and really piling in there. It was just my family.. we were all going to sleep in the same bed. They could have just pretended like I never said anything. But they decided to cancel on us. Maybe they're incredibly passionate about fire code? Maybe the fire Marshal drops in randomly and inspects all the guest rooms to see how many people are staying in each room? Maybe they thought they could rent our room out on short notice to someone else for more money? Maybe they are sticklers for the rules? I don't know for sure. But I am incredibly disappointed with my experience with the people here. I'm sure the property is lovely and a great place to stay. I won't ever know as I will never give another cent to this place.
My now husband and I stayed at Riverview Pines when we were in Estes Park to get married. Everything from the room, the friendliness of the staff and owner, the location, and the absolute breathtaking scenery and landscaping made the time perfect and memorable. I cannot wait to go back again and again. Highly recommend.
Great location being a mile from downtown Estes, and 3 miles from the park entrance. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds were very well kept, and the rooms were clean and as advertised. We had elk walking on the grounds during our mid September trip. Very quiet and convenient. Pricing was very fair. I would definitely return. Nice restaurant (Wapati) a few hundred yards up the road that is very good.
