Have always loved this small free campground however now there is a fee of $26 to $28 and there is nothing there except a small bathroom. There is no trash recep. The very nice host from one of the other large campgrounds a couple of miles down the road comes to collect money. Really not worth it anymore. There was no other campers there for the 4 nights we were there probably because it is simply not worth it. Used to see a lot of Chipmunks but they seem to left also. Probably won't stop there anymore. 😒
Road Canyon was so green and beautiful this year. We have gone often because it is centralized to several lakes to fish. This year we actually had a bear visit our camp.
Very good place for any type of camping road well maintained no tree issues for tall trailers good fishing and hiking wven have nice bathrooms if you need them .
4 stars for scenery! Out of the way non supervised campground on the way to 30 mile. Fishing just feet from camp. No amenities. Self sufficiency is a must!
Caught lots of fish. Very simple camp ground.
