Roam Beach Resort

This resort is in such a beautiful spot right on the ocean. The cabins are just perfect. If you have an RV, there are spots for them too!. I loved the barrel sauna. There is literally no sauna that close to the water that I have ever seen! Amazing views, great location and all amenities right there!

We recently had the pleasure of renting Cabin 5 at Roam Beach Resort for meetings, and it was an exceptional experience. The location is ideal and easy to find, with stunning ocean views that create a comfortable and serene atmosphere—perfect for both work and relaxation. Under the new ownership, the resort has seen incredible upgrades that truly elevate the guest experience. From the modernized amenities to the thoughtful touches throughout the property, it’s clear the new management is dedicated to making Roam Beach Resort a top-tier destination.

From start to finish, our experience at this location was truly sweet and memorable. Bonnie's friendly nature and the caretaker's hospitality made us feel right at home. The private space allowed us to enjoy a dip in the ocean followed by a relaxing session in the clean and spacious sauna with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Highly recommend Roam Beach Resort. We stayed five days and were very pleased with the hospitality and beautiful area/views! Personable and friendly hosts (Scott and Bonnie) who made sure we had what we needed. The cabin itself (#5) was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The lock system was straightforward and easy to use. The location was perfect for us - right at ocean front, close to the Fanny Bay boat launch for us to go fishing, and within short walking distances to places to eat. Qualicum Beach is also only a 15 min drive away! You can grab an ice cream from The Cone Zone nearby (5min walk down the road), wander the beach during low tide (find beautiful shells!) and/or check out the Crown & Anchor Pub across the road. Can have a bite/drink there, enjoy the live music and then it’s just crossing the street back to the resort to enjoy the propane fire pit overlooking the beach. (We didn’t get a chance to check the pub out but we did enjoy the fire pit at sunset!) Bonnie and Scott were fantastic - friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. If you have any questions about the area or things to do, Scott is your guy! We appreciated his insight, tidbits and exchanging fishing stories haha. All in all, we recommend Roam Beach Resort to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for the awesome stay!

We were so taken by ROAM - a small, bespoke RV and Cabin site - during our recent two night cabin stay at Qualicum Bay. ROAM has recently been lovingly restored. The cabins are tastefully decorated and have everything you will need for a very comfortable stay. We loved being so close to the water and being there in low and high tide, giving you two very different experiences. And what a treat the carefully positioned sauna is! A sauna at the end of the day just on sunset at high tide is quite a memory. We were sorry we couldn’t stay another night. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful place to relax - I’d say there is no place like ROAM!
