Me and my family love Knotty Pine! Location is phenomenal with a river for our back yard. Daily, whether on my drive or at the site, I see beautiful animals. Great access and great people! The camp host Tracy is an amazing host who always texts updates on weather and helping ensure an enjoyable stay. Out of all our campgrounds we've been too this one has been our favorite!
Great stay. The place is decent sized so it’s all about where you reserve. Big trees offer lots of shade. We were lucky and got site #2. It’s against the Provo river and absolutely beat our expectations. We didn’t use the pool but it looked like family’s and people having fun. The restrooms and showers were ok. Could use some updating but clean and served the purpose. Staff super awesome and helpful. Great way to spend a couple of days and get out of the SLC heat. Could do without the cottonwood trees. Almost got caught in a white out. The place had a mix of tv spots and cabins.
Going to give this quaint, clean, little campground 4.5. why no 5? The dang road noise. The spot we got was right up against the highway, which was quite noisy. But if you get a spot up against the river I'd imagine that could help drown out the road noise. Full hook ups for your camp trailer(always a bonus for me). Clean spots, pet friendly, restrooms are huge and very clean. Showers big and clean, and the pool and hot tub round it all off. The location close to mirror lake highway, tons of stuff to do! For sure check this place out!
Not too many places were still open this time of year (Oct. 20th) so that was nice. The rv park is quiet and by the river, but you can't see the river from the camp sites. Nice fire pit but no grill. Club house is nice but video game and playing pool cost. Since the place was so empty, we asked if we could check out an hour later than 11:00 am. They said yes, but it will cost $25.00. Before we drove there, I asked if the hot tub was open. They said to ask the pool guy while we were here and that he would probably turn it on if we ask early enough. We asked in the morning but the office gal said no emediately. She didn't even ask the pool guy.? We still had fun though and it's a pretty nice place.
We have been full time RV’s here for a year and could not be happier. It’s a gorgeous and peaceful park with wonderful management that welcomes you like family. The park is quiet and clean, we have great neighbors and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. After the hustle and bustle of work & travel it’s a sigh of relief and a melting of stress whenever we get home.
