One reviewer, who has been visiting for years, praised Nancy's care and dedication, contributing significantly to the positive experience. The park is consistently described as "clean and very well kept," creating a pleasant environment for campers.

However, some potential drawbacks were also highlighted:

  • Close Site Proximity: Campers noted that the sites are "way too close together" with "shared driveways," which may impact privacy and space.
  • Geese and Mess: The presence of many geese leads to a "real mess" around the roads and campsites, requiring campers to clean up before settling in.
  • Flooding: There was mention of "some flooding around the swim beach," although it remained open.
  • Limited Amenities: One reviewer did not observe a playground.
  • Bathroom Review Limited: One reviewer only used their own bathroom and thus could not rate the campground bathrooms.
  • Dog Friendly: The campground is dog friendly.

Despite these considerations, Robinson Point offers a clean and well-maintained environment with a highly regarded park host. If you're looking for a lakeside camping experience in Mountain Home, AR, Robinson Point is worth considering. However, be prepared for close site proximity and potential geese-related messes. The positive experience with the park host and the clean environment are significant advantages. Always contact the park directly for the most up-to-date information regarding facilities and current conditions.

It’s a nice park but the sites are way too close together with shared driveways. There was some flooding around the swim beach but it remained open. I didn’t see a playground. It is dog friendly. I only use my own bathroom so I can’t rate the restroom. There are a lot of geese here and they leave a real mess around the rods and campsites. My site was covered in poop. I had to shovel it off before I would let my dogs outside

The park host is part of what makes this place awesome! We've been coming here from AZ for years and Nancy is always here and always cares. This place is always clean and very well kept and a very pleasant place to be. Thanks Nancy!

Used to camp here with my family when I was a kid, now I bring my family to camp here. The husband, kids and I all love it! If you can get a spot on the "loop," the views at sunrise and sunset are gorgeous!

We camped for 2 nights in RVs. We swam and I was so happy to see proper toilets and hot water shower stalls. Most of the joy was the company kept, but we got beautiful views of the lake and there's lots of amenities. Some of our troop went to enjoy shopping and eating at Mountain Home. Very nice!

Beautiful place to stay! We stayed for 1 wk and loved every minute of it. During the week it was super quiet and peaceful. The shower house wasn’t far from us, which was great. It was always cleaned every morning. Definitely would recommend!! We will be coming back!

Beautiful Corp of Engineers campground where most sites border the lake. Some even have covered picnic tables for shade. Restrooms and showers were clean and modern. This park has a longer open season than most of the COE parks.
