Rock Bottom Campsites Introduce

For local users seeking a tranquil camping experience, Rock Bottom Campsites, located at 4315 Pleasant Hill Rd, Kelso, WA 98626, USA, offers a potentially serene getaway. You can contact them at (360) 235-0357 or +1 360-235-0357.

As part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, Rock Bottom Campsites provides traditional drive-in camping spots and unique yurt accommodations. One reviewer noted that accessing the location involves passing under a low clearance bridge, which their 2011 Ford Escape managed to clear. This suggests that larger vehicles might need to consider this aspect of the approach.

A significant feature highlighted by a customer is the potential for "extra extra peaceful camping," suggesting a location that offers a sense of seclusion and quiet, away from crowds. The owners, described as a nice and reasonable woman and gentleman who are actively working on improving the campsites, charge $35 for their drive-in, bring-your-own-gear spots.

For those seeking a different camping experience, Rock Bottom Campsites also offers yurts. One guest who stayed in a yurt described it as "lovely," "beautiful," "SO quiet," and "very comfortable," with a "gorgeous view of the river" that could be enjoyed until falling asleep. The bed in the yurt was reported to be very comfortable, although guests are advised to bring their own linens or sleeping bags when opting for this accommodation.

Currently, the campground appears to be in a phase of ongoing improvement, with the owners actively working on the spots. If you value peace and quiet and are looking for a local camping option with the potential for river views and unique yurt stays, Rock Bottom Campsites could be a great choice. It might be wise to visit before it becomes more widely discovered to maximize the chance for an exceptionally peaceful camping experience.

There is a pretty low clearance bridge that I had to drive under, but it fit my 2011 ford Escape, so if you want camping away from people, this is the place to go. The owners are still working on a few of the spots but its turning out really good so far. Its a woman and gentleman that own and work on these campsites and theyre really nice and reasonable and charge $35 for their drive in/bring your own gear spots. Will be coming again in the future. Get here before all the people discover it for a chance at extra extra peaceful camping

Stayed in a yurt tent next to the river. So quiet and peaceful. Had complimentary firewood and drinking water. The gentleman brought us hot cocoa, hot coffee and 2 huge fresh baked cookies. We had a really good time.
