Rock Creek Campground is equipped with essential amenities to ensure a comfortable stay:
The campground is surrounded by lush trees, providing ample shade and a serene atmosphere. While the dense foliage may limit solar power usage and stargazing, it enhances the overall camping experience by offering a peaceful and secluded environment.
Customer feedback highlights the campground's well-maintained facilities and friendly staff. One visitor mentioned, "Super great camping spot above the river. My 12-year-old daughter slept in the hammock overnight in late August. The weather was great!" Another reviewer appreciated the availability of showers and the convenience of the outdoor sink, stating, "We brought a truck and found a low campsite #26, just across from all the biker’s spots and bathrooms. There is an outdoor sink for dishes, bring quarters for the showers, and there are a few bathrooms too."

Multiple campsites were available, pretty much first come first serve, I’d like to add, if you are a Californian Military Veteran, especially a disabled veteran, you need to get a Distinguished Veteran’s Pass. Or an America the Beautiful pass. We brought a truck and found a low campsite #26, just across from all the biker’s spots and bathrooms, there is an outdoor sink for dishes, bring quarters for the showers, and there are a few bathrooms too. As other’s stated there are lots of trees so basically no solar, and star gazing is not easy. Most spots have a picnic table and a small closet I’m assuming for storing food against animals.
Super great camping spot above the river. My 12 yr old daughter slept in the hammock overnight in late August. The weather was great! Showers are available $2 for 10 mins, bring quarters! Fire pit was great as long as there is no burn ban. We'll maintained with friendly staff.
Super nice campground in the forest. The host was also really nice and welcoming! They even have showers available (you have to pay extra for those), and warm water.
Good amenities. Kid friendly and family fun. River access. Not recommended for solitude camper.
This is a very nice camp ground and has showers! 25 cents for a few minutes. It does take a bit for the water to get warm enough for a shower though. There's a great restaurant just a jog across the street. The traffic noise is minimal and the camp hosts are awesome!
