Wonderful inside aquarium. You can have the kids look at fish that are huge from our river, they can crawl through a tunnel and look at turtles swimming above them. See different river animals placed about. Hanging fish in the table area allows you to see the many kinds of fish and name them from our area. The campground is great too. With cabins and showers available. The Slough allows you to see many birds and other wildlife.
Nice well kept Nature Center, campgroung boat ramp and store. They also have cabins to rent and a playground. An ECO cruise is offered some evenings. Check for scheduling. There have been improvements to the campsites in the last year or so too. The only negative is the trees that were lost in last summers storm leaving less shade for some of the campsites. Not the parks fault.
Really cool place, nice place to camp or just to visit. Really nice educational exhibit, canoe and boat rental, cabins trails. Cool place
My kids love it here there is alot for them to do and there is places to fish all over I caught a turtle and frogs the first day I was here the kids were really excited about being here
I am there alot! We tent camp and rented various cabins many, many times. My grandson and I love even day trips there.
