Very nice place. I slept through whole night! So quite and no wind! 20 minutes drive to Shoshone falls. Perrine Coulee fall was nice to see as well. As a note: no table on individual side and no dump station at the camp. But nearby in town.
We found a pretty little RV campground around the Twin Falls Idaho area: Rock Creek RV Park 900 Addison ave W Twin Falls, ID 83301. The park is nice and green, located right in between two creeks and down in a gully. Water and Electric only, on asphalt and our site was perfectly level. There are some big rigs here but I think the sites are 40′ long, many pull-thru and some back-in with 30-50 amp service. Don’t let the entrance and short drive to the campground detour your thoughts, once you get to the park you’ll feel more comfortable. Pay attention to the address on GPS as there is Rock Creek Park close by with a steep downhill entrance next to a yellow steel gate that didn’t look doable in our 32′ class C. (we didn’t go down that way) This is the entrance to the city park, we drove past that entrance and had to turn around. Cell reception is pretty good 4 bars Verizon and 2-3 bars AT&T. I think the park is by reservation only, there is a camp host near the entry but didn’t see anyone around so we proceeded to find our site and pulled in, we saw them on a golf cart later on in the afternoon checking sites. We enjoyed our night in this quiet little hidden gem.
My family of eight stayed here for one night and it was a great spot for the price. Clean bathrooms, friendly hosts and close to a nice walking/bike path. It’s lower than the main road so it was quieter at night. Not much shade. There is a city park with a playground close as well. The stream next to the park is fast moving in some spots so make your kids aware of it. Electrical hookup buy there is no dumping here - there is a dumping station close off the main road.
Nice rv park with lots of grass and trees with rock creek running through the it. It is first come first serve and there is a limited number of pull through spaces. Lots of pick nick tables and a few rest rooms that are pretty clean. There aren't any shower's or a dump station and the sites only have power and water. Pretty quiet for being close to town and by the highway.. camp host seems to be pretty nice. spots are pretty reasonable at $20 a night.. I enjoy staying here every time I come through..
Where would we be without Rocky? Up the creek with nowhere to stay! Our van broke and we had nowhere to stay close by for one night while we waited for it to be fixed the next day. Rock Creek was full but I decided to make just one more call. That’s when Rocky came to the rescue. What a super empathetic person. Here we are in this oasis in Twin Falls. Rocky - sincere thanks for making a very stressful day much more bearable!
