Customer Reviews
Easy check in and very friendly staff. We were there a very cold, windy week and we're surprised to wake up to snow. Very clean laundry room and great dog park. They were easy to work with and extend our stay when we needed furnace work done but the local repair shop. Enjoyed our stay. Thought the views around us were beautiful.
Their coin machine does not work for laundry and their cost per load is $3! Insane. This is a major amenity for travelers. Additionally, our camper front door was facing another campers front door, no privacy at all. It was odd because there were many empty spots, not sure why it was necessary to cram us all into a corner. Do not recommend.
The campsite was easy to find and the sites are all very level and long. We didn’t need to unhook the truck so made it easy for our early morning start. K9 area was great for our puppy but they need to fix the fence. She almost escaped through the whole. Bathrooms are clean and there were no issues at all. I would recommend this campsite and hopefully next time we’re in the area, we can stay more than just overnight.
Springs / Green River KOA, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality, particularly from Caleb and Mich, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The campground itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and spacious sites that offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We stayed in a deluxe RV site, which came with a lovely concrete patio, a fire pit, and comfortable Adirondack chairs—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Caleb and Mich were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They provided us with excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options, ensuring we made the most of our visit. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist with any needs truly made us feel at home. The amenities at this KOA are top-notch. The restrooms and showers were spotless, and the laundry facilities were very convenient. We also enjoyed the pool area, which was a great spot to cool off and unwind. The campground’s location is ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions like the Pilot Butte Wild Horse Scenic Loop and the City of Rock Springs Museum. Overall, our stay at the Rock Springs / Green River KOA was fantastic, thanks in large part to the wonderful service provided by Caleb and Mich. We highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable camping experience in Wyoming.
Small but nice campground. There is a large area set aside for long-term residents. The campground is right off the freeway and is easy to get in and out of. Friendly, helpful staff. I'm sure we'll stay here again.
Due to high winds, our arrival was delayed by about nine hours. We rolled in around 1:30 a.m., road weary. We picked up our packet and drove to our site, #7. Our reservation stated we are a 42-foot 5th wheel. Of course, we also have a 20-foot truck. Site 7 is supposed to be a drive through. Maybe for a van? We looped around and backed in, and guess what? The site is way too short. In order to get our truck out of the main road, we had to back up and block the road behind us. Luckily, there weren't other campers, so I think it was okay. The spot was not level!! We leaned to the left a lot. We woke up to the lovely view of a tank farm. There were lots of other larger spaces available. Why put us there? This is the worst KOA and worst campground we have ever been to, and we have crossed the country four times. The kicker? It cost $75! Really?! I gave two stars because it was quiet, and we had power and water.
This is a Journey KOA, so I didn’t expect concrete pads and a lot of updated features. The spaces are a bit close, and I don’t like the Jack and Jill center set up for the hook ups. It is located right next to a gas tank farm, so sorta industrial area. It was just medium for me and good enough for 1-2 nights, but not longer. And the advertised cable tv hookup doesn’t work.
Large RV campground. Gravel. Few trees. Full Hookups available. Space between RVs. Not very scenic. Convenient stop off I-80.
