Customer Reviews
This is just far enough outside of the city it is still very peaceful day and night. Even right next to the highway, the traffic noise dies down around 10pm, and its so quiet at night, really feels like youre in the country. I can hear the waterfalls running from over 100 yards away with my 5th wheel windows open. The onsite manager is above and beyond helpful. He is honest & trustworthy.
I originally tried contacting the place around last Wednesday (12/04/2024). I called today to inquire again about a monthly stay for a 30amp was hung up on and when I tried to call back was immediately sent to voicemail. I guess trying to ask for information was a wrong idea.
The staff is very friendly and i believe own the place. Spots are close but its quite and feels nice. Great spot to relax. Dollar General is near the entrance. Big +
Wife and I decided to downsize from brick and motor home. Living RV lifestyle full time. On site manager very knowledgeable and approachable. On site laundry and showers. Mail and package delivery available. Great and enjoyable place to stay. Close to restaurants, shopping, and historic Mt Vernon. Short drive to downtown Evansville water front. Reasonable rates.
Safe, Quiet campground. Stayed for 5 months. Close to all 3 Hospitals in the area if you are there for work. Joshua was absolutely wonderful. Small pond with plenty of places to walk the dog and somewoods in the back to throw sticks and chase squirrels.
Sites kind of close together, rough hewn if you will, lost water a few times in the winter. Electric is included. They do have laundry on site although I went next town over to 24/7 app operated large machines. Driveway pretty rough in winter and mud season. Office guy is nice.
Neighbors were cool, but manager was trippin. There's a big Homeless camp in the trees on the hill. Hound dog howls all day. Constant sewer smell outside. I called on the day I was supposed to pay, tried to pay, and he told me not to pay... Then a couple days later dude came up banging on the door talking about where's my money, you're late like l was dodging him or something.
I really enjoyed my stay there will definitely go back
