Good for kids
Hidden gem. Both Rocky Knoll and neighboring Silver Bowl are terrific escapes from civilization, with Rocky Knoll the quieter of the two. We took site #12 beside a quiet pond, with only the sounds of a running stream and occasional breeze in the trees. Silver Lake is a few steps away, with both swimming and kayaking. Pit/vault toilets were spartan but clean, and trash was removed daily. We never met host, but clearly they take great care of the site.
It's such a beautiful area. There are about 20 camp sites. Not too close together. There are tables and fire pits at each site.
A terrible campground. Please don't come out here. "GRIN"
Guaranteed campfires year round. In the middle of so many POI.
Love it!!!!
