Was a nice place to just sit back relaxe and enjoy. Close to town and a grocery store is a few blocks away. There is also a nice little ice cream shop within walking distance that is a must try it is called the ice cream parlor. If your looking for a place that has cell signal this is the campground to go to. If you are looking to unplug from everything then it is not. The staff do a great job getting you on your float and even if you are running late on the river they will have someone there waiting for you (speaking from experience.) They have showers and a laundry room as well that are kept clean. Great place for the price.

First time here. Wouldn't recommend at all! Reserved our rafts weeks prior. Showed up and had to wait for over an hour to even sign my agreement. (Which is fine) They told us to go outback to wait for shuttle to take us to our drop off. Keep in mind got there around 10:45 a.m. didn't even leave for shuttle until 1:30 p.m., that's damn near 3 hour wait totally unacceptable. Took us to our drop off point, and not one worker came up to let us know where our raft was. We waited an additional 30 minutes. I had to finally locate workers who were sitting down smoking and listening to music while you have paying customers who are just standing there not knowing where to go. Bravo on the customer service. Took us to our raft. Looked like something bought from the late 70's. My kids were sitting on the raft and plastic blue paint pieces was coming off sticking to their legs. Had 9 pin holes in bottom of raft. About 5 inches of water just from the holes. That's absolutely ridiculous 🙄. Extremely disorganized. Usually go to KC on the current wanted to try Rocky river out. WILL NOT BE BACK. WONT RECOMMEND TO WORST ENEMY. GET YOUR BUSINESS FIGURED OUT OR CLOSE SHOP SIMPLE AS THAT!

2nd visit. Always muddy roads. Great staff. John is a superhero. Wifi does not reach the river. Porta-pottys and a very rough bath house. Really overbooked so crowded you cannot move in the electric spots. No parking for tent spots on river. Otherwise an okay place.

The campground could use some work. The only way in to our spot has low hanging tree limbs that scraped the top of our motorhome. You also have to drive through mud holes going in and out. The Current River is beautiful, and is worth the shortcomings of the campground.

Second annual float to this place and had a great relaxing time. Campsites are shady and well spaced. Could use upgraded shore power boxes at some sites. Owners and employees are all very respectful and attentive. If you are looking for a low stress-chill neighbors campground, check this one for sure.
