Stayed at this location recently. Reminded me of a budget motel. No pets allowed even though the room I had had laminate flooring. Bathroom was very small. Felt a bit gross using the stand up shower as the floor tile looked very old. No other hotels were open yet due to out of tourist season which is the reason I stayed there.
Upgraded motel, almost hotel like. Some rooms (especially the ones at upper floor) are very nice, spacious and with very good amenities. Some of the ground floor units are less desirable. Staff is friendly but not accommodating (potentially because it is high season). We got two rooms and we got assigned in 2 different buildings despite having both rooms on the same reservation. Internet is stable and TV system and telephony are great. Location is amazing: walking distance from the restaurant area and old port in Gaspe, 30 minutes away from Forillon and Perce.
Room was very clean. We were on second floor so no noise issue. There are only 2 issues for us 1. There are no rooms with queen bed + one more bed so we end up having two double beds 2. No iron and iron board Remember it is an inn do not compare it with Crowne Plaza or Hilton but compare it with similar inns
There we're bugs in our bed. The next day the stuff promised they will call later that day but never called. Nor refund or discount either. Our room was in sound floor but still, super noisy. We barely slept that night and we paid 258 dollars for it. Worst experience ever.
Reception assistance is not nice.the room was so noisy i can hear walking from the stairs,hallway,and the guest walking in the rooms from the next floor.didn’t get rest the whole night.when I check out told the reception.she say you should have asked the room from above. Doesn’t matter which room you are. “It should be sound proof” guests deserve a quiet rest.
