We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. This was actually our third stay. To our surprise, we barely had hot water, more like lukewarm water, and very low water pressure. Our toilet wasn't flushing correctly. I'm sure it was something going on in that one room. We haven't ever experienced anything like this. The Rodeway Inn is so quiet and peaceful. This place has a little charm. It's always clean, and the rooms are bigger than normal. I love this place and I can't wait until our next stay. The pictures below are the beautiful view right outside our room from the balcony. We look forward to this view every time we stay here. Like I said, the Rodeway Inn has charm.
Heather barely reached 68 degrees and it was noisy. Bathtub drained very slow. Musky smell in the room.
Nice spot...my room wasn't the best and could have benefited from a fridge and microwave...but it was a smoking room and I understand there are multiple reasons for why those are not furnished as nicely. Could be cheaper but it was a weekend near a casino on a river...only $30-$40 more per night than other comparable hotels in less spectacular locations and am g the most affordable in the area. 4.5/5 overall would definitely return.
The description states it is “on the river” with river views. This along with the statement “river view balconies" and the photos on the website certainly makes one assume the rooms are along side the water! This is NOT true. There isn’t even a walkway down to the water. When we checked in the room was extremely musky smelling and about 80 degrees. They did not turn the air on to cool the room down before our arrival. The ice machines were not working anywhere on the premises either. The outside view of the business has a very nice appearance, but the inside, not so much! Although it was not what I expected it to be based off of the pictures it was close to everything and Cherokee is beautiful and was definitely a very nice little getaway! The pictures are from our 2nd floor “balcony with river views"
Older room decor but very clean. Balcony is a very long way from the river but still pretty. Front desk person nice but had extreme body odor. Not a great first impression of the hotel. Overall good location, price, and room.
