Awesome spot in an awesome town. Spent the labor day weekend in spot #5. Lots of fun trails to explore in the area.
Basic small RV park in a remote town. Pull-through sites, gravel pads, full hookups with 30A power only. Good for an overnight. 3 of the 5 sites appear to be occupied by long term campers. Simple self check-in; cash or check only, no credit cards. There is a newer park with 50A power on the edge of town. The town is spartan on conveniences like restaurants, groceries, and fuel.
Cindy and I did four loads of laundry at ROLL INN RV PARK LAUNDRY in Pioche, Nevada on Saturday, May 19, 2018 while we were staying at the nearby Echo Canyon State Park. The laundry is a small well-kept building that is part of a local small RV park on the main street in the town of Pioche, Nevada. The RV park has easy access off the main street. The parking lot is gravel. There is a parking space right in front of the small laundry building. The laundry has five washing machines and five dryers. Most of the machines cost $1.50 each whereas two of them cost two dollars each and thus hold larger loads. There is a small folding table, however, there were no rolling laundry baskets for use. Nor does the building have a restroom. There were free magazines and newspapers to peruse while waiting. In addition, there was a small selection of paperback books. There were interesting and helpful flyers of community-related events posted on their bulletin board. Along with someone’s lost sock and underwear. The absence of a restroom and rolling baskets were not inconveniences to Cindy and me. We were glad when we arrived that all five of the washers and dryers were ready for our use. We feel as though we got our moneys worth and appreciated the convenience of easy access, reasonably cost washers and dryers. We appreciated that the facility both inside and out was clean. And the temperature inside was pleasant. We will return to ROLL INN RV PARK LAUNDRY.
I actually really liked this tiny little gravel RV Park with six spots pretty close together. What was there to love? Pull through sites, self check in, and 30 amp electricity and water for $25/night or $90 per week; a fantastic little laundry room that was clean with great equipment, including a commercial, high capacity front loader washer and dryer (I got to wash all my blankets!); new clean garbage cans; and it was 1 block from an excellent little coffee truck and a few blocks from town. I did have some trouble tracking down enough quarters to wash everything. There is no change machine, and the nearest bank is 20 minutes away and closed on Sundays, of course. So I went on a quarter quest. I found the ATM at the bar/hotel up the street, got one roll from the gas station a bit further up, and then another roll from the coffee cart, plus a few quarters from a local and some from a fellow RVer. The locals were very welcoming!
Views and sunsets. Tidy and clean and such a great value. Loved how organized it was. No showers or bathrooms but that didn't mater to us. Stayed 2 nights. I'd stay here again.
