I live in Rolling Greens Village, a 55+ community. We have a new bistro in the clubhouse called So Yummy. Great food.
It is July 1, 2024, our second anniversary at RGV Golf Community. We have enjoyed another year of community events, private resident events, golf games, wiffle ball games, birthday parties, hurricane parties, DUI checkpoints, golf cart parades, pool days, Jinga Mondays, Taco Tuesdays, Wine Down Wednesdays, and Fun Fridays. We have endured the weather with our fellow residents and felt the sting of human tragedy with our fellow residents. My wife and I could have happily remained complacent in our anonymous life with dignity back home, but we are so happy we discovered another way to live. I think perhaps, we might all be able to say, we are better, stronger, and happier people in a community than we are alone on our own. Much love and respect RGV ❤️
Invited to play pickleball here. Very clean subdivision, clubhouse, and pools are amazing!!
My husband and I rented a furnished unit over the winter (3.5 months). It was perfect to check out the area. Very quiet, and everyone was very friendly. It was also a nice setup to allow my husband to work remotely. This side of town does not have all of the traffic and was very convenient to the places we needed to go. 5 miles down the road is the Silver Springs State Park, which is a great kayaking place. The community center and pool were also nice.
Lots to do if you want. Most people here are really friendly with smiles. We love our daily golf cart rides with the furry family, which loves them too. Hopefully, they bring back the concerts we used to have in the park. All in all, we like it here.
