Rolling Hills Campground Ottawa

Great experience at this campground, especially impressed with the owners and their tentativeness. We have been travelling Canada and stayed at many campgrounds in the last 3 months, and this one was up to par with the best ones. Their water is soft water, which was great, especially for long term staying you don't have to worry about lime build up. The water is also heated underground, so if you're staying in the winter like we did, there is no issue getting water. The spot we were in was 100% level. They have a gate to get in and you can only get in if you are camping there, which made us feel secure and safe. The laundry room was clean, easy to use, and cheap for coin laundry! The owners were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, they met up with us when we arrived and let us know about not only the campground but everything around us including recommendations on things to do in the area which is great if you aren't from here. They were always available in person or via email or phone call, and quickly got back to us always. They also love dogs, so our little poochie felt especially welcome. It also snowed a bunch while we were there and woke up every morning to our spots being plowed, so we didn't have to shovel out to go anywhere. This was our last stop in Canada and we were so greatful to be able to stay here in the winter, and have such a great experience.

We found this campground through RV LIFE and we are so glad that we did. We absolutely love Our site in the view we have in beautifully kept rolling hills. The bathrooms are all brand new and spotlessly clean. They sell firewood here and they have a small store with the essentials that you would need. five minutes down the road are all kinds of stores such as grocery stores and other shopping plus great restaurants. In the other direction is Ottawa, which is less than 30 minutes away and a breeze to drive straight into downtown. We will definitely be coming back to rolling Hills Campground so we can visit the surrounding areas more and enjoy the peace and quiet at this campground offers. We love taking our grandkids to campgrounds, but this one is an adult only you can bring your grandkids in, but they have to be supervised at all times, this is a nice break from the noisy campgrounds. We’ve all been to. I’d love it if they had wine and cheese tastings or even beer tastings here I don’t know if you can do that in Canada but if you can, this would be the perfect spot because it is so beautiful here.

I had a peaceful and quiet experience here. My RV was very neat and the campground was well maintained. I'll be back for sure. The proximity to Rockland is an added advantage.

This adult only campground, was clean, quiet and well managed. We were very comfortable having spent 8 nights there! We recommend this campground and would definitely stay again!

The location is excellent; in proximity to all services, we can still feel the joy of relaxing on a campground. Enough space between lots is an important criterion when selecting a site. Rolling Hills met our expectations.
