Roosevelt Base Camp

Room was perfect for us. We came down from Seattle and on this particular day we had the whole place to ourselves. It was well lit on the grounds and the room was very clean and comfortable. We liked the little details of the room. We felt safe staying here for the night.

Our family spent three nights here as a base when we explored the Redwoods. The hotel was a delight! The rooms were beautiful, modern, cozy, and had an amazing layout. They have a great fire pit for guests to use- including the wood - and it was great to have a fire after exploring the park. The location was perfect for traveling to the far northern and southern parts of the park, but just minutes away from Lady Bird Grove and Feen Canyon. We travel a lot, and this hotel will always be remembered as one of the most special we’ve experienced.

Excellent hotel and location! This hotel clearly has hand crafted charm and love put into it. The most comfortable and supportive mattresses! We slept our family of 5 in the 3 separate areas very easily. There were closet organizers in each space which helped us stay neat. The major plus is we were only 10 minutes from key hiking trails in the Redwoods. We were able to make it early enough to elk meadow to see a whole herd. We will be back!!

We really enjoyed staying here! Rooms are updated, modern, super clean, and cute! Reception was very thorough in their communications and the added details about where to eat in and around the area was very much appreciated. Wish we had stayed longer. Microwave, toaster and super cute retro mini fridge with freezer. There is a fire pit onsite which was peaceful and grocery store right across the street and strangely but thankfully a pizza door truck lol.

We had a fantastic visit at the Roosevelt Base Camp! We stayed there from a Friday night to Monday morning and received the most amazing customer service from Carrie who did us a huge favor and picked us up from the ACV airport as we couldn’t find any taxis or Ubers to pick us up. The rooms were extremely comfortable with some really quality linens, a fridge/freezer, coffee maker, and microwave. The area was very quiet and you did have to drive to nearby towns for food/bars/etc. Carrie gave us excellent recommendations in our welcome message and was super quick to respond when we needed something!
