Very nice open but private area to set up multiple camps/tents. Although you are surrounded by trees there is plenty of open sky for stargazing on a clear night. There are several hiking and biking trails nearby. Pets are welcome too! Rothrock is a great place to reconnect with nature. (Plenty of trees for hammocks)

Large, open oval with plenty of space for tents or camper, ample parking. Has a firepit and picnic table. This is a great site for a group of mountain bikers or folks that just want to get away from it all and hang out in the woods. One trail nearby, but the views and landmarks are limited at this location. I slept in a hammock just off the main camp. Plenty of places to hang around the camp as long as your willing to go a few yards into the woods. If your a family looking to use this as a base camp for visiting the surrounding area, be advised that access is by gravel roads. If you don't mind the gravel, mountain road drives, then your good. If your mode of transportation is a bike, then make sure the miles and elevations are to your liking. If your a mountain biker, then get it.

Campsite is not too far from the road, but deep enough that there's a sense of absolute privacy. My cell phone kept a connection, at least good enough for email and light web browsing.

Nice campsite but it's very open. Not many trees to hang a hammock or to hang a tarp to get out of the rain if need be. Nice fire ring and only one picnic table for such a large site. Plenty of parking. There is no restroom or playground. Rustic at it's finest.

Great spot for a large group to get to explore Cooper's Gap as a hub. Plenty of space to Park and place tents. Has a fire pit and picnic table. Would recommend a Pop up tent for dry space in case of rain for cooking or eating.
