This charming little campground is a hidden gem! The host in 2024 was exceptionally friendly and helpful. While some spots can be reserved, some of the best ones, like ours, are first come, first served. The campground is filled with trees, and the scent of pine is simply delightful. Generators can be run between 6 am and 10 pm, but despite several campers using theirs, the noise was never intrusive. I enjoyed the peaceful mornings running on my batteries before firing up my generator later in the day while I worked remotely.

LOVE this lake. It's our second year coming here and will continue to do so. Great camp sites and beautiful little lake. Kids love going to the stream and catching fresh crawfish. Caught some beautiful rainbow trout for dinner.

We stayed at site 42D, and had great views of the open meadow (where we saw several deer), and an easy walk to the small lake. We originally had a different site reserved, but there was no flat spot to set up our large tent, so the camp host let us move to a "first come first serve" site. Our spot was perfect and quiet, though we noticed on the other side of the loop was access to a dirt road, and many ATV tours seemed to come through on both days we stayed. Otherwise, no complaints. There was a small trail to explore on the other side of the lake too, and a lot of wildflowers in June.

It's fairly primitive, with no showers and only pit toilets, but the place was quiet and mostly bug-free. The tent pads are a bit small, approximately 12'x14'.

Nice lake, the slide area is pretty cool, and very slippery. Plenty of areas to picnic ,fish, and go camping. $5 for a day pass, and they'll ticket your car. We tried to have a short picnic at a table and were shooed off by the hosts because it was booked already for campers.

Way too many fees for this size of lake. Fishing was not that great with small perch and trout at best. Pattle boarding seems to have taken over this spot.Restrooms were clean but there were a ton of open spots to camp though, maybe someday camp here but we will leave the fishing equipment for Sheridan lake. Didn't get a chance to meet the camp host but I hope he has learned some manners over the years, he has quite the reputation...and not a good one at that.
