Customer Reviews
RoundStone campground was an amazing spot- particularly “little pine” where we stayed. It was private, had plenty of space, and had beautiful views of the stars and fall foliage. The grounds are well kept, with a corn field, a stream, and a hiking trail. We hope to return one day.
This is an incredible patch of private land that the owner's rent out as a tent/cabin campground. Sites are extremely well spaced and this a great destination for anyone looking for a tenting or bare-bones cabin trip. There was no running water when we went (winter camping!) but the heaters got the job done in the cabin. We will definitely be back and had a great experience exploring the area. Communication was easy and regular, a great time!
We really enjoyed our stay in the waterfall cabin! The cabin was warm and cozy. The trails at the site were also beautiful. We went in December and enjoyed ourself!
My family and friends stayed at RoundStone twice( 2023 + 2024). We loved the campsites so much the first time we had to book it again but this time with the additional for the cabins. Campsites: There’s a good amount of space between the campsites! Site 1 is large and spacious. Site 2 has a great deal of canopy cover. Site 3 has a nice nook and close access to the stream, which is relaxing to hear at night. Cabins (waterfall and buckhorn) Rustic and clean. There are also outdoor showers which are great for a quick rinse off (it’s camping so don’t expect the quality of a 5 star hotel but it was PERFECT for a quick 5 min rinse off). We did see a bear or two but they weren’t an issue. You don’t bother it won’t bother you but it was great to see them! Lots of other wildlife- chipmunks, salamanders, frog, deer, bugs! The host were very responsive and accommodating for our group. Some of the people in our group were first time campers but LOVED the campground. There are also port o potties between the sites!
We've gone to a tent site at round stone 3 years in a row with all of our friends and it's a magical place to camp if you like nature. Flowers , butterflies, river, beautiful sunsets, dark skies for star gazing, and lots of critters. It's the entire package. The bridge to our favorite site is a little scary but it adds character and a thrill.
