My husband and I have been coming to Royal Palm RV Park for four years now. We are extremely happy here. The Park is kept very neat and tidy. The restrooms and laundry facilities are exceptionally clean. The residents are wonderfully kind, helpful and lovely people. We have felt welcomed and included from the first week here. There are activities daily to participate in and the Keys offer numerous alternate opportunities in the Parks backyard. Many of these are within bicycling and walking distance of the park.
Clean quiet park, close proximity (Walking Distance) to some amenities. Winn Dixie close by as well as Walgreens with a liquor store. Other campers were very friendly and helpful * needed help levelling our rig. Propane refills were hard to find , local fillers didn't have propane, had to drive back over 7 mile bridge. We love BPK for their lack of light pollution, at night you can see plenty of stars clearly. Sunsets were spectacular, Sunrise were a little less than exciting. It was on the cooler side when we stayed, so boat charters were nixed. On the weekends there is a flea market across the street - that is a must see experience, reminds me of Shakedown Alley. Trinkets galore and very talented artists. Kids loved the free inflatable park located there. No admission - great Free recreation in the keys. At night deers creep around and will eat anything edible you leave outside, they are so tame and docile they will eat right out of your hand! I would recommend this campground to anyone who wants to be close to society while being closer to nature. 5 Shooting STARS π π π π π
We stayed at Royal Palm for 4 weeks this past November and December 2022. One thing my husband Greg and I loved about our visit was how they make you feel welcome. We felt like part of a family with all the other people at the park. We canβt wait to come back next year!
Stayed at Royal Palm RV in December. Couldn't have felt more welcomed!!! Very friendly staff and residents.... quiet park, lots to do, and can catch the bus to Key West which is very convenient! We will be back again later this year.
Like others have said it is a quite little village of mostly retired citizens. I have stayed here two nights so far, with my father. Bathroom stalls are a blast from the past. But the showers were like home and very temperature controled. Landry machines are on site but have yet to use. Also have trash containers. No kids or pets. Friendly hosts 100%. Only gave 4 stars because of tight restrictions on rvs 26 foot total/ complete we had a 24 foot with slide outs and was a tight fit. Deer in petting range :) ill update on other 2 days!!! Like my rewiew! Thanks.
