If you're looking for something fancy, this isn't it. It is a good hotel though for the price. Everything was clean except the stained couch. The bedding, mattress, and pillows were new and spotless. We didn't see a single bug anywhere. Hot shower. Microwave and mini fridge. Free wifi. Recently had some remodeling work done. It was relatively quiet while we were there besides the traffic from the nearby road. It is gated and safe. There were only a couple of other rooms occupied while we were there on a big event weekend. Nice staff. We were pleasantly surprised overall, and would stay there again.
This place was an inexpensive hotels just around the corner from the bourbon street, ok 12 miles, out, but close enough. The room was clean, the service was great, we will consider this place first when we come back to Louisiana. Oh, the location seemed run down and dangerous.
The state did not go right I didn't get to stay there because the guy who I was with booked a room for the wrong day and they tried to make him pay extra 75 take me to another room when he already booked for April 1st although it was a mistake they wouldn't let him get a room
The property is kinda old, and it shows, but the rooms were clean, and everything worked just fine. The owners are new and young (as of my stay in march 2024). They are very helpful and kind. If you have any inconvenience, they will at least try to help and accommodate you. Some people say it's in a bad part of town but I stayed there for 2 weeks almost, without a car, just RTA and nothing bad happened, even carrying my shopping at night. The bus even leaves you almost at the gate. And if you are in a car, the parking lot and rooms are gated, so you should be fine. Yes, it's a little far, but for the price, it's really worth it
From the outside the place looks kind of dingy but I promise it is well worth it inside the rooms. One of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed at. The service was kind and quick and the rooms are spacious with a great AC unit and cable TV! I missed cable. Bed was comfy and I have absolutely no complaints. Thank you!!
