I love walking all the different trails. Some are paved. Some are through the wooded areas. Love walking along the river. Always birds to see. Sometimes deer will come out of the woods.
My first time bike 1hr up to this park. So worth it. Such a clean, peaceful and quiet park. All i hear is birds singing while biking throughout the park. So enjoy the beauty of mother nature!!
Awesome place to go walk around for a few hours. Nice paved trail.
We love going here anytime of the year! Sometimes we take our bikes on the fun trails or depending on the snow, for cross country skiing or snowshoeing!
Check the MN DNR website for river levels..The Rum River is very clean..There is abundant wildlife including birds of prey..The best stretch is between Rum.River North and Rum River Central.Bring your mosquito lotion.
